Building a Contender: Top 10 Recruiting Classes for 2026

The Prep Soccer national rankings for the 2026 class was updated this week. Check out the rankings here. Learn more about the ranking process here.

With the release of the updated rankings for this class, Prep Soccer also unveiled the Top 30 Recruiting Class rankings for the 2026 group. The class already has over 1,000 players who given a verbal commitment over a year prior to their arrival. That combined with a select few who have signed professional contracts, and another select group that excelled academically and graduated a year early with the 2025 group has taken away some of the upper-echelon five-star prospects from this class.

The depth of this class does shine through. We have over 300 players ranked in the group and plenty more knocking on the door of the ranking in the Watch List.

The recruiting ranking showcases the programs that have built classes to strengthen the rosters. The top 10 classes have depth, but they are also dependent on the stars showing up and immediately improving the roster. Read about the top 10 classes below.
