Stewart led the line for the SLSG Green team that went undefeated over the weekend, with one win and two ties. I got to watch her in their 0-0 tie with Challenge SC and she was always very active on the final third. A tall and physical player, Stewart was the focal point of SLSG's offense and she displayed a solid all-around game, doing solid holdup play, but also drifting wide to explore the space. She had a good presence inside the penalty box to finish chances, but also displayed the ability to create for her teammates. Stewart also did solid defensive work, putting pressure on opposing defenders and forcing them to play long.

Butler was part of the Sting Black team that ended the event with one win, one loss and one tie. I was on the sidelines in their opening match, an animated 5-2 loss to FC Delco, in which she scored a goal and displayed an excellent work rate up top. Butler was relentless with her movement in the final third, going wherever she needed to go to ger on the ball, and made great runs on both wings. An excellent dribbler, she also used her pace to beat defenders and displayed calm in front of the goal to finish chances.

Pete was a big part of the Sting Royal team that triumphed in each of their three matches in Dallas. The forward scored the game-winning goal in their 1-0 win over SLSG Navy in their first match in the event and was a constant threat up top. Pete's constant movement off the ball was a challenge for opposing defenders as she was very smart with her positioning and didn't need much time to create separation from them. She did a great job of getting wide to make plays and was very strong in 1v1 situations, beating defenders to get into good spots to finish and to find her teammates.

Robinson's SLSG Navy team returned home with two ties and one loss, but she was one of their most impressive players. I was there when they lost to Sting Royal 1-0 in a hard-fought match and saw many positives in her game. A physical forward, Robinson uses her body very well to work as the team's reference up top, getting on the end of long passes and shielding it from defenders. She spent time playing a little bit deeper and was also very dangerous there, moving well off the ball, combining efficiently with her teammates and making some strong runs through the middle in which she was very difficult to stop.

Corcoran was with the [program_tooltip program_id='278052' first='Albion' last='Hurricanes FC'] team that secured one win and two losses in three days of action in Dallas. I followed their opening match and only victory, a 1-0 triumph over Eclipse Select, and she was one of the key pieces of their offense. Playing mostly on the left side of the team's attack, Corcoran had great moments, using her pace and dribbling skills to make it past defenders and get to the end line. She also used her body well to shield the ball and make turns when operating in tight spaces and was very difficult to stop when she had possession. Corcoran also did a great job of taking corner kicks from the right side, sending the ball toward the goal and creating problems for opposing defenders to clear it.

Carr and her Sting Austin team ended the weekend undefeated, with two wins and one tie. She was very active in their 2-1 win over Eclipse Select on the final day of the event, facilitating the team's offense with her great positioning and quality on the ball. Carr, who scored in their opening match against PDA White with a beautiful shot, played the striker role for most of the time, but did a great job of getting involved in the team's playmaking, moving very well off the ball and connecting quick, one-time passes. She was also dangerous when she dropped deeper to get on the ball and made runs through the middle, displaying great vision to find teammates in good spots with her passing.
