Girls Academy 2010 Champions Cup Championship Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Girls Academy Champions Cup wrapped up this week from Florida. In the 2010 age group, Tophat took home the championship with a 2-0 victory over HTX in the final game. The Georgia club went through the Champions Cup with only one goal conceded in four games. She made a number of tackles in the open field in the first half that thwarted the HTX attack. She was brilliant in the duel and anticipating where to be. She also showed her quality on the ball. She did well showing her poise to break the pressure with her excellent passing and decision making. She was electrifying every time she touched the ball. The creativity on the ball created a number of chances for her side. York ended up with the final goal of the game on a corner kick, that I believe, went directly into the goal.
