Semi-Final Day at Girl’s ECNL Playoffs

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It wasn't just the young athletes sweating out there today my clothes felt like I took a shower by the time the games concluded. It definitely felt a little hotter than it did yesterday and there were some tired legs out there today. There were a lot less goals than there was yesterday and every goal was celebrated passionately by parents. As you'd expect many games were decided by a penalty shootout and half of the teams competing will be headed home feeling disappointed. There are two San Diego Surf and two Michigan Hawks sides that will be competing for a National Championship on Monday a true testament to both clubs and their development strategies. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It will be on all California Final in the 2012 Age Group as San Diego Surf will take on Slammers HBK. In the 2011 age group San Diego Surf will be taking on the Michigan Hawks. For the 2010's we have the Michigan Hawks battling it out with Legends. 2009's we will see MVLA and Kansas City Athletic fighting for the ultimate prize. Lastly in the only Championship game that doesn't have team from California in it Real Colorado vs Sting Black. Teams from California dominated last year's ECNL National Champions winning 5 out of the 6.
