How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I have been mainly trained in a Barcelona style of play, where the team builds out from the back and values possession of the ball. My team uses rondos to relieve pressure, and what I do off the ball is as important as when I have possession of the ball.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am a tenacious competitor who always strives to improve my performance. I have enjoyed playing soccer since I was 7 years old and training days filled with drills, scrimmages and instruction are as important to me as game days.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I'm honored to be a member of both the California Scholarship Federation and the National Honor Society for my academics and service. Making others feel welcome and comfortable is important to me, thus I serve as a school ambassador for campus events with new and prospective students and families. Likewise I have worked as a Shadow Day host and currently serve as a mentor advisor for freshmen.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Having served as captain of my ECNL-RL team at MVLA, I fully understand there is no "I" in team, because it is true team work and camaraderie that leads to success on the field.
What type of college are you looking for?
Being a two-sport athlete, a college that is competitive in both its sports programs and academics is desirable to me.
