Vejrostek is part of the FC Dallas Academy, playing for their U19 team in the MLS Next League. He’s the top-ranked prospect in our updated Class of 2028 Texas State Rankings. A left-footed defender, he’s versatile and physical enough to play either in central defense or as an outside back. Vejrostek’s defensive game stands out for his ability to read plays and anticipate moves, but he also holds his own in physical duels. He has superior quality on the ball and is capable of breaking lines with his passing and getting his team out of difficult situations in possession. The defender has strong finishing skills and can score from long range when supporting the attack.

A lefty, he can play center back or left back and consistently delivers at a high level, standing out with his excellent decision-making and mental toughness. Vejrostek is very good at reading the game and anticipating plays, stepping up to win the ball with great efficiency. He’s an excellent passer, too, making very few errors and being capable of breaking the opposing press with his accurate distribution.

Vejrostek is a defender for the FC Dallas U19 team who has already been invited to train with their MLS team. He’s originally a left back, but can deliver in other spots too, and has played center back and defensive midfielder this season. Vejrostek is extremely solid defensively, using his physicality to dominate opponents inside the penalty box and his impressive read of the game to make interceptions, cut passing lanes, and get to the ball first when defending in space. He’s also extremely technical and can get out of pressure in the back with intelligent passing or by dribbling past attackers to push the ball up. When used in midfield or at outside back, Vejrostek offers solid offensive contributions with his excellent vision and his ability to finish from distance.
