Munoz came off the bench during the first half and helped the Dynamo consolidate their victory with two late goals. Playing on the left wing, he had a very active shift and was consistently involved in the team’s chance creation. Munoz was very strong in 1v1 plays and also contributed with his passing, coming inside to combine with his teammates. He did a very good job of following up on Choate’s shot to score his first goal and was very calm and composed in front of the goal to get the second.

Playing on the opposite side to Choate, Munoz wasn’t as active as his teammate, but was arguably more decisive, scoring twice in a matter of minutes and helping the Dynamo put the game to bed. A lefty, Munoz displayed great finishing skills in his goals, coming inside the penalty box to score – in the second goal, he found the upper corner with a beautiful, one-time shot. The forward combined very well with the players around him and moved very well off the ball, consistently offering a passing option to his teammates. Although the Dynamo had the ball for most of the time, he showed good commitment to track back and help the team when they had to defend.

Munoz was very active on the left side of the Dynamo’s attack and created some problems for Austin’s backline. Very aggressive and skilled on the ball, he went at defenders and was able to beat them off the dribble fairly often, displaying an interesting repertoire and strong decision-making. He started the play that resulted in Olsen’s goal, driving the ball forward on the left and feeding him inside the penalty box. Munoz also spent some time playing more centrally, as an attacking midfielder, and showed great quality in operating in tighter space, combining with his teammates and finding nice passes around the penalty box.
