A consistent and efficient two-way left back, Lynch has been a pillar for Episcopal in the last four seasons. The senior handles his defensive duties extremely well, benefiting from his high soccer IQ to be in the right places to make stops and using his athletic tools to dominate opponents. When on the ball, Lynch brings a lot to the table with his excellent decision-making and efficiency. He likes to support the offense and can hurt opponents by either dribbling the ball inside with quick, direct runs or by taking it to the end line and delivering accurate crosses into the box.

The senior had a strong performance at left back, appearing well on both sides of the ball. Lynch was extremely reliable defensively, stopping every Kinkaid attempt on his zone and making some nice defensive plays further up on the field. He did a good job of staying wide and helping Episcopal stretch the field when they had the ball, making it easier for them to keep possession against a team that was up a player. The outside back did well every time he pushed forward and made some nice plays out wide in the final minutes of the match, drawing a dangerous foul on the edge of the box.

Lynch is the eighth-best defender in our Rankings and appears inside the top-40 overall, in 37th place. He has helped his high school team Episcopal win state titles in his three years there and starts at left back for GFI U19 in the MLS Next league. A solid all-around player with a high soccer IQ, he contributes to his teams in many different ways. Lynch is very solid defensively, playing with good determination off the ball and dominating his zone of the ball. He also adds a lot in possession, being capable of helping his team create plays through the middle with his passing vision or using his pace and ability to dribble the ball to make plays out wide and cross the ball into the box.
