Flores-Martinez anchored Albion’s backline and had a strong defensive performance for them. Playing in the center of their back three, he stepped up when Lonestar pushed forward, making strong plays inside and around the penalty box and was not at fault in any of the opponents’ goals. The center back also had a key role in the team’s buildup, breaking lines with his intelligent passing and patiently moving the ball around to wait for the right opportunity to do so. He also supported teh team’s offense on some occasions, displaying good quality to dribble the ball forward and sending nice crosses into the box.
