ECNL Playoffs – Champions League 2010 Best XI

The defense deserves a lot of the credit, but [player_tooltip player_id='191528' first='Camille' last='Barrett'] had some stellar moments to keep those shutouts. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There was a chance in the first half against PDA (which was later ruled offside) when Barrett showed all her brilliance. PDA was on the counter and a golden chance fell at the top of the box. Barrett was 1v1 with the attacker, who one-touched the finish. Barrett sprawled and made an athletic block with her foot to block the shot. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>That is the the part of the position that Barrett is so good about. She shutdown some elite attacking talent. The decisive tally deserves the attention, but it was the movement before the goal that should get part of the spotlight as well. She covered a ton of ground and sprinted to the right area for the chance. She scored a great goal against MVLA with a tight turn and finish with her left foot. Her ability to win 1v1 dues certainly made a difference for her team. It was her effort in the press that really stood out. It's a strong collective with a high technical level. She offers the total package as a No. 9.
