The 2025-2026 club soccer season has reached cruise level, and all major leagues around the country are currently going on at full force, with multiple matches taking place every weekend.

Texas is home to strong teams, which are among the very best in each of those leagues, and every weekend, many of them get on the field looking for three points and to move up in their respective standings.

Prep Soccer Texas has been following the club season very closely, covering multiple matches every weekend and highlighting the boys and girls standouts from the Lone Star State as they battle in-state opponents or teams from other parts of the country week after week.

To throw an even larger spotlight over the Texas teams and players, in addition to providing extensive post-match coverage as we've been doing, we'll now preview some weekends ahead, picking what should be some of the most exciting matches from different leagues scheduled for the upcoming Saturday and Sunday and feature them on the site.

Girls Academy

[program_tooltip program_id='283457' first='San' last='Antonio City SC'] G09 vs. HTX G09 - November 8, 2:00 PM @ Spech SC, Field 5 - San Antonio

San Antonio City have six wins, four losses and three ties, ranking sixth in the Frontier U17 Division standings, with 21 points (1.62 per match). Between [player_tooltip player_id='112682' first='Reagan' last='Freitag'], Ellesia George and Jaylynn Gallo, they have three excellent options at center back. Capable of playing as either an outside back or a forward, [player_tooltip player_id='169448' first='Alexis' last='Diaz'] is very skilled on the ball and adds a lot in possession. Two other important offensive pieces for the team are winger [player_tooltip player_id='112684' first='Lilly' last='Ludeke'], who's very technical and intelligent with her moviment out wide, and midfielder [player_tooltip player_id='112688' first='Makenzie' last='Shirley'], who's crafty and creative in the final third, helping create chances for the team.

HTX have six wins, two losses and four ties and are in third place with 22 points (1.83 per match). Their starting goalkeeper, [player_tooltip player_id='210641' first='Caelyn' last='Moore'], plays up a year for them and is among the best in the country. [player_tooltip player_id='229570' first='Bryana' last='Molina'], an athletic and technical center back, and [player_tooltip player_id='159414' first='Tessa' last='Sprayberry'], a well-rounded prospect who can play as an outside back or midfielder, anchor their defensive system. Bringing tremendous intensity and quality on the ball, the twins [player_tooltip player_id='148498' first='Hallie' last='Montgomery'] and [player_tooltip player_id='331756' first='Harper' last='Montgomery'] are the midfield engines for HTX. In the attack, [player_tooltip player_id='155704' first='Blake' last='Landry'] and [player_tooltip player_id='229576' first='Lexi' last='Baker'] work very well off each other and are consistent goalscoring threats.

ECNL Girls

Sting Royal G10 vs. [program_tooltip program_id='283497' first='Sting' last='Austin'] G10 - November 9, 9:00 AM @ Boswell High School - Forth Worth

Sting Royal have six wins and two losses so far this season, ranking sixth in the Texas Conference with 18 points (2.25 per game). A physical and talented center back, [player_tooltip player_id='214138' first='Gwyneth' last='Kunde'] is one of their top defensive players. In midfield, Sting rely a lot on [player_tooltip player_id='214728' first='Braelyn' last='Meador'] and Alissa Duderstadt to do the heavy work of covering ground when they don't have the ball and moving it intelligently when in possession. Up top, [player_tooltip player_id='214720' first='Cam' last='Geyer'], a quick and dynamic winger, and [player_tooltip player_id='214726' first='Paxten' last='Parker'], a cerebral No. 10 who likes to step into the box to finish chances, benefited from the recent addition of the incredibly talented [player_tooltip player_id='149327' first='Trinity' last='Bledsoe'], who is a difference-maker in the final third with her ability to beat opponents off the dribble and finish chances.

[program_tooltip program_id='283497' first='Sting' last='Austin'] are in fourth place in the Conference with 16 points (five wins, one loss, one tie) and a point-per-game average of 2.28. Their starting goalkeeper, Isabelle Sanchez is very agile and consistent between the posts. In front of her, Rhyse Venson provides the team with some much-needed size and mobility at the center back position. Aidan Hernandez is a technical and creative midfielder, who is their main playmaker and is very involved with their actions in the final third. She connects very well with [player_tooltip player_id='280537' first='Brynlee' last='Nordstrom'], a forward who works very efficiently with her back to the goal, but also has the quality and vision to operate a little bit deeper.

ECNL Boys

BVBIA NTX B08/07 vs. [program_tooltip program_id='283397' first='[program_tooltip program_id='278668' first='Lonestar' last='']' last='SC'] Red B08/07 - November 9, 11:00 AM @ BVB International Academy Training Grounds - Carrolton

BVB are fifth in the Texas Conference standings, with 12 points (four wins, two losses), averaging two per match. Very firm when playing defense, [player_tooltip player_id='319321' first='Cooper' last='Bates'] is a mobile center back, who has good quality and confidence on the ball. He plays next to Evan Rosencrans, who has a solid combination of physical and technical tools. A creative and intelligent attacking midfielder, [player_tooltip player_id='16276' first='James' last='Mastrangelo'] is a key piece in their offense. He does a good job of feeding [player_tooltip player_id='16277' first='James' last='Weston'], a dynamic and aggressive winger, who is very strong in 1v1 duels, and [player_tooltip player_id='15786' first='Alexandre' last='Afonso'], an intelligent striker who moves well off the ball and can finish from distance.

[program_tooltip program_id='278668' first='Lonestar' last=''] are down in tenth place, with four wins, four losses and two ties - they have 16 points, averaging 1.6 per game. A center back with solid defensive skills and strong quality on the ball, [player_tooltip player_id='90899' first='Jack' last='Cox'] is a key piece in the backline for them. Diego Torres Solis, who's very physical and can pass the ball well, can be used in central defense or left back. Beau Bryant, a physical player who does a great job of shielding the backline, and Darius Hardge, a lefty who can play more centrally or out wide, have important roles in midfield. Offensively, [player_tooltip player_id='288451' first='Sebastian' last='Gonzalez'], a gifted attacking player who can play in midfield or in the frontline and who has a lethal left foot, is the reference of the team.

MLS Next

[program_tooltip program_id='283612' first='Austin' last='FC'] U14 vs. [program_tooltip program_id='283648' first='FC' last='Dallas'] U14 - November 9, 1:00 PM @ St. David's Performance Center, Parmer Field - Austin

[program_tooltip program_id='283612' first='Austin' last='FC'] are fourth in the MLS Next League Frontier Division with 16 points (five wins, one loss, one tie). Goalkeeper Sebastian Gallegos is very technical and reliable between the posts. A defensive midfielder, Enrique Balboa is very good at using his body to win duels and has great quality on the ball. Also in midfield, Raymond Zhang is very smart with his decision-making and moves the ball intelligently, while Aidan Hernandez is their main creative force, using his quality, vision and craftiness to make things happen in the final third. Up top, Brayden Ray is physical enough to deal with opposing center backs, while also demonstrating serious goalscoring ability.

[program_tooltip program_id='283648' first='FC' last='Dallas'] have won all six matches they played in the Frontier Conference so far, accumulating 18 points and ranking third. They have a great deal of talent in their backline, with Andrew Trigueros displaying great quality to win and pass the ball, Evan Boyette being versatile enough to play anywhere on defense and Jeronimo Atehortua standing out as an extremely well-rounded and dynamic left back. In midfield, Ricardo Reyes and Jose Gil Flores are both very intense and aggressive when in possession. The focal point of their attack, [player_tooltip player_id='334099' first='Kimani' last='Bruno'] is a lethal striker, who makes excellent runs behind the backline and is calm and collected in front of the goal.

The 2025-2026 club soccer season has reached cruise level, and all major leagues around the country are currently going on at full force, with multiple matches taking place every weekend.
