Guilherme Torres | Prep Soccer Scout
The junior had a brilliant first-half performance and was one of the reasons why Jordan went into the halftime break ahead. Playing on the right side of the Warriors’ offense, Ledbetter was a handful for Stratford’s backline, using her pace and quality on the ball to create chances. She was flawless in the play in which she scored the team’s goal, timing her run extremely well in a transition play and hitting a very difficult shot from a tight angle. From the second half on, with Jordan struggling to hit in transition, she wasn’t as active offensively, but continued to do a good job of tracking back and helping the team defensively, making some good plays off the ball.

The junior forward was Jordan’s main weapon to hurt Seven Lakes as, with limited space in the middle, her runs out wide proved to be pretty effective. Ledbetter displayed a great work rate and never stopped giving her teammates passing options, drifting to both sides and also making runs behind the backline. She got to the end line on many occasions and sent good crosses into the penalty box, but her teammates didn’t get there to finish them. Ledbetter had a good chance to level the score in the second half, making an extremely well-timed run behind the backline, but couldn’t get her shot off goalkeeper

Ledbetter wasn’t always the most effective with her offensive actions, but she never stopped trying to make things happen during the match. The forward called for the ball and moved into positions to make plays the entire time, serving as the focal point of Albion’s offense. She used her body well to control thrown-ins and to get to the end of long passes when Albion struggled with their buildup, offering another alternative to the team’s attack. The forward also tried drifting to wider positions to get on the ball and make runs.

On a night where Jordan’s offensive players didn’t have a lot of success in combining to make plays, Ledbetter’s runs were at times the team’s most effective weapons. She had a big challenge being defended by two of Seven Lakes’ best players in the match, outside backs Kennedy Reed Kennedy Reed D Seven Lakes | 2025 State TX and Sydney Hill, but never stopped trying to make things happen and had a few dangerous runs, even if they didn’t result in shots on target. Ledbetter started the match on the left and ended it on the right, keeping her intensity level high until the end. She also contributed defensively, tracking back to help the team fight for the ball and using her aerial ability to intercept throw and clear balls from the penalty box in set pieces.
