Georgas started at center forward for the Dynamo and was the focal point of their offense while he was on the field. With two goals and an assist, he was a difference-maker for them up top, showing an extremely well-rounded game that kept GFI Academy’s defenders busy. Georgas was very composed in front of the goal to convert his two chances and demonstrated excellent vision to assist Gomez in the team’s fourth goal. He didn’t put a foot wrong all game and used his combination of size, pace and technical skills to produce in different ways, working well with his back to the goal, making runs on the wings and combining with his teammates in the attacking half.

Georgas played more to the right side of the Dynamo’s attack and was very involved offensively. Combining great size, good pace and nice quality on the ball, he was a handful for FC Dallas ‘ defenders, creating all sorts of problems for them. Georgas made good runs on the ball, worked well with his back to the goal and connected well with his teammates. He was very opportunistic in scoring the team’s first goal by following on a corner kick and being in the right place to pick up the rebound.

With a solid combination of physical and technical tools, Georgas is extremely valuable for the Dynamo with his ability to play different roles at a high level. He can operate as an attacking midfielder, as a wide midfielder or wingback on both sides, and even fill in as a striker if needed. Georgas is very good at keeping possession and progressing the ball on the field, using his body to shield the ball as he moves forward. He’s very intense on and off the ball and manages to keep a high level during entire matches. Georgas also has a good presence inside the box, finishing well both with his feet and his head.

Georgas started the match playing as an attacking midfielder and was the Dynamo’s best player in the first half. He scored the team’s two goals in the match thanks to his ability to get into the box and demonstrated impressive finishing skills, both with his feet and his head, sending the ball into the back of the net with difficult first-time touches. He also did a good job of dropping back to work with his back to the goal around the midfield line to offer his teammates a passing option and help them break Albion’s press. Georgas moved to left wingback during the second half and continued to play with good intensity, but wasn’t as present in the final third and inside the box.
