A new addition with Solar this season, Martin played in the final, against FC Dallas, earning an important clean sheet that helped her team take the title. She’s a very solid shot-stopper, who has the privilege of playing behind a strong backline, but is always ready to make plays and keep the ball away from the goal. Martin, who got to play with the 06s earlier this season, is very explosive when going for the ball and doesn’t try to overcomplicate things, avoiding unforced errors Another interesting skill she brings to the table is her passing, which helps Solar keep possession and eventually break lines.

Martin is a new addition to Solar SC. She previously played for DKSC in the ECNL. She’s fit in really well with her new club. She brings a top pedigree as a player identified by US Soccer scouts as one of the best in her position the state/region. Martin is probably not going to face that many shots this season, but she is going to see plenty of the ball at her feet. She has emerged as a great weapon in passing and breaking pressure with her vision and accuracy of passing. Martin has the tools to develop into a top goalkeeper at the national level.
