Sanchez Moreno plays for the Albion Hurricanes FC U16 team in the ECNL League. He ranks fourth among the forwards and 12th overall in the Lone Star State. A highly technical and intelligent forward, he’s a player teams build their offense around because of his impressive ability to influence the game in the attacking half. Sanchez Moreno moves very well to get the ball in space and is very effective with his playmaking, beating defenders in tight spaces and feeding teammates with excellent passes. He’s also an elite finisher who is very calm in front of the goal and can also score from distance.

Playing as an attacking midfielder, the sophomore was involved in Taylor’s best attacking plays during the match. Sanchez Moreno used his dribbling ability to create space in the center of the field and passed the ball extremely well. He delivered an incredible through ball to senior midfielder Luke Shirley in the first half, but saw Seven Lakes’ goalkeeper stop his shot. With Taylor down a man for most of the second half, Sanchez Moreno had less help to make things happen offensively, but he continued to attempt to make plays with some success.

Maybe it is partially the name, but there is a art of Francisco’s game that reminds me of Francisco Totti. The confident swagger and lethal quality in the final third are rare traits that he possesses and showed on game film. The set piece delivery was also a bright spot of his game.
