Uncommitted California Players to Watch at ECNL Playoffs

The moment that these girls have been waiting for his finally here. The biggest week in the ECNL calendar will kick off tomorrow and spots for the next phase in Virginia are on the line. Who will make it and who will crash out disappointed? Only time will tell. Here are some players who remain uncommitted that coaches should be keeping an eye on from Northern California.    Leifried is a top player. Super technically sound, extremely athletic and tough competitor. The word on the street is she is playing up with in the U19 age group during these playoffs which is well deserved. She is well worth a watch!     Davis is a do it all central midfielder. She has a great first touch, and always seems to have a plan when passing. She's a strong and a hard nosed defender. Watch out if she is able to get a shot off because she can hit the ball with true power from distance. I don't think she will be on the board for much longer so get your offers in while you can!     If you are lucky enough get to one of her games. Sit back relax and enjoy the show. Ferraro is an incredible playmaker with so much talent. She's a hunter who always wants the ball and makes things happen for her team. She can score goals, set them up and creates a ton of turnovers cutting off opposition passing lanes.     Big time attacking player who has everything needed to thrive at the next level. She scores a ton of goals and forces an insane amount of turnovers with her relentless pressing. She can beat you physically and technically especially on the dribble when she gets going. Power 4 talent who won't be on the board for very long.     Absolute stud who I'm sure had quite a few calls on June 15th. There is something special happening at [program_tooltip program_id='283463' first='San' last='Juan Soccer Club'] as they just spit out talent after talent. Moore is an incredible striker who was just in Europe with the Youth National Team and scored while she was there. Will she go to college or go pro? If I were to guess both options will be on the table for her.     Captaining this [program_tooltip program_id='283641' first='De' last='Anza Force'] team Nelson is looking to lead her team a couple steps further this season. They got to the Semi-Finals in Virginia last season and lost to the eventual champions Penn Fusion. Nelson can play anywhere on the field and seems to figure out solutions to any problem she is faced with offensively and defensively. Incredible talent who will be able to compete for playing time at any Power 4 school in the country as a freshmen come 2027.     One thing I can always trust in a player is their ability to shoot. Sloan is a fantastic finisher who can pick out the corners with both feet when given a chance and can also beat a keeper with power if need be. She can play anywhere along the front line and thrives as a 9.     NWSL kind talent from Hawaii who will be looking to repeat as a National Champion. How she hasn't been in Youth National Team Camps is one of the biggest mysteries in youth soccer if you ask me. She's a Rolls-Royce of a defender that has everything needed to be successful. She's big, she's strong, she's fast, she gets stuck in, she's great on the ball and she can pick out any pass on the field within 40 yards. Major talent.     The little magician is back looking to 3-peat with this loaded HBK Slammers squad. The offense flows through her. She is so good on the ball and has such smart decision making with her passing. First touch is absolutely class. Female Vitinha. If you need a midfield maestro for your 2028 recruiting class look no further.     Karson is establishing herself as one of the best players in the country in her age group. She's been in the USYNT set-up and recently had a trial with Racing Louisville. She now stands at about 5'10, really good in the air, has an endless engine, really fast top end speed and has incredible feet for a girl who has grown so much so quickly. She plays defensive midfield and center back for her Mustang side. She can pick out any pass on the field with both feet and is outstanding on the half turn.     The biggest snub of the most recent Youth National Team Camp in Europe for the U16 age group Miller will be looking to impress the scouts who left her out of that squad. Her MVLA team is one of my favorites to get to Virginia and win the whole thing. If they do go all the way Miller will be one of the main catalysts who get them there.     If I were to make an educated guess I don't think the Oakland native will be on the board for much longer. She is a tier 1 athlete who has a wand of a left foot and very versatile as she can play in multitude of different positions. Her [program_tooltip program_id='283257' first='Bay' last='Area Surf'] side are a serious contender in this tournament and they will need her to perform if they are going to make a run at winning it all.     Recently just captained the USA U15's in Europe Travers has the talent to go incredibly far in this game. Her defensive positioning and instincts are the best I've seen at her age. She is always in the right spot. Her distribution is super efficient as she not only breaks lines but puts her teammates in favorable positions to make the next play. Soccer IQ is off the charts.     Williams seems to be winning everything this year and her MVLA side has a chance to go all the way. She has a really high ceiling as her physical and athletic gifts really standout from the rest in the her age group. Tall, fast, and excellent defensive footwork. She loves to dribble into midfield and make plays offensively. She is a Power 4 talent.     Tough, scrappy defender who is an exceptional dribbler out of the back. She loves to get forward and get crosses in from her outside back position and plays great through balls in behind the opposition's defense. Top competitor and isn't scared of anybody. If you hear a big boom from the field she is playing on it's probably Pintard going into a tackle.
