About Camila

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a forward, i'm crafty and like to take people on. I like to take players on the dribble then look to make space for myself to shoot or cross the ball. As a midfielder, I like to push up and attack by distributing the ball and looking to go forward.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a competitive mentality and I enjoy working for myself and for my team to get better and do everything I can to make the people around me get better too.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am currently part of Albion Hurricanes FC ECNL 09G. Over the past two years (2024–2025), we have played in the national playoffs, and this year we reached the Round of 16. In 2024, I was named All-Regional in the league. In high school soccer, I have earned several recognitions, including being selected All-District (AM-F in 2024 and 2025), and I have been recognized as MVP in multiple local tou

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a competitive player with a winning mindset. I believe teamwork is essential in soccer, and I focus on helping my teammates succeed so the team can achieve our goals together.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A significant challenge I have faced has been moving to the US and joining club soccer when I was 12. It forced me to work twice as hard to catch up with my teammates, who had a slight advantage from playing club soccer from a younger age and having more experience.

Miranda came off the bench in the first half and kept the high level of Albion’s offense with her intelligent and technical play. She played mostly on the wings and did a very good job of combining with the players around her and moving off the ball to make plays. Miranda was also very strong in 1v1 plays, using her dribbling to beat defenders, and delivered an excellent cross to Allison to score the team’s third goal.
